Electrical Services for Offshore Wind Turbines and Substations

Electrical Expertise Rooted in Offshore Wind

Electrical services are a core competence within OIS‑Conbit, built on the long‑standing expertise of OIS Offshore Industrie Service GmbH. Our electrical teams are deeply experienced in offshore wind applications, supporting wind turbines and offshore substations throughout their lifecycle. From installation and commissioning to operations and major maintenance, we deliver electrical services in environments where safety, reliability, and compliance are critical. This competence is strongly embedded within our organisation and forms a key pillar of our offshore wind offering.

Wind Turbines and Offshore Substations

OIS‑Conbit provides electrical services for both offshore wind turbines and offshore substations. Our scope covers low, medium, and high voltage systems, supporting essential power generation and transmission assets. We work on complex electrical installations where accessis limited and operational window s are tight. By combining technical knowledge with thorough preparation, we support safe execution during installation, upgrades, fault finding, and corrective maintenance activities, both offshore and in port environments.

MV, HV and HVAC Works

Our electrical services include medium voltage and high voltage works, executed by qualified and experienced personnel in line with applicable standards and procedures. In addition, we support works related to HVAC systems within offshore assets, ensuring reliable operation of auxiliary and environmental control systems. Whether supporting planned campaigns or unplanned interventions, our teams work in a controlled and well‑prepared manner, aligned with offshore wind industry requirements.

Cable Pulling and Termination

Cable pulling operations and cable termination form an important part of our electrical service scope. OIS‑Conbit supports routing, pulling, fixing, and termination of power and control cables within wind turbines, substations, and associated infrastructure. These activities are carefully planned and coordinated, often in close interaction with mechanical, hydraulic, and lifting scopes. Strong preparation reduces installation risks and ensures correct, durable connections that support long‑term asset performance.

Strong Presence in Rostock

The electrical competence of OIS‑Conbit is strongly concentrated in Rostock, our main offshore wind location. From Rostock, our electrical teams support projects in the Baltic Sea, including wind farms near the island of Rügen, as well as wider offshore wind markets. This local presence enables fast mobilisation, strong asset familiarity, and close collaboration with clients. Across all electrical services, we apply one consistent way of working: strong preparation, transparent communication, and safe, predictable execution.
